Vitaly Polekhin is the President of International Investor Organization INVESTORO
aiming and focusing on early stage investment deals in startups and scale ups
around the world.
He serves as an Executive Committee Member and the International Cooperation
Committee Chairman of the European Trade Association for Business Angels,
Seed Funds and Early-Stage Market Players (EBAN). EBAN is the pan-European
representative for the early stage investor gathering about 200 member
organizations in more than 50 countries today. Established in 1999 by a group of
pioneer angel networks in Europe with the collaboration of the European Commission and
EURADA, EBAN represents a sector estimated to invest 11.4 billion Euros a year and playing a vital
role in Europe’s future, notably in the funding of SMEs.
Vitaly is a founder and head of the SKOLKOVO Business School Investor Club – a platform that
brings together entrepreneurs and investors looking for new business opportunities.
Vitaly Polekhin is an active angel investor and was named Angel Investor of the Year in Russia, has
PhD in Philosophy and graduated Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO (Executive MBA),
Lomonosov Moscow State University (MBA) and different programs in business schools like MIT
Sloan School of Management (Entrepreneurship and Innovation Executive Education), UC Berkley
Haas School of Business (Venture Capital Executive Education), Harvard Business School (Private
Equity and Venture Capital Executive Education).
